Apple Picking

I took Cadence apple picking this past weekend for her first experience. I went with a couple of friends and their children. There was soooo much stuff to do I couldn't even keep track. There was a small petting zoo, a playground, an artist making wood carvings using a chain saw, face painting, a cider pressing station, pick your own pumpkins, pick your own raspberries and apples, and a HUGE corn maze. Before we even got there, Cadence was sleeping. I expected her to wake up once I took her out of the car but to my surprise, she stayed asleep!

She HAD to carry the bag of apples. She'd even take them from me and put them into the bag. At one point, she was trying to figure out how to carry the bag and had it dragging between her legs. It was a sight to see.

There wasn't enough time in one day to fully experience all they had to offer. We picked some apples and raspberries and enjoyed the petting zoo. Here are just a few pics!
