Fun in the tent

Hello from inside my play tent.
Go figure...there's a Mikey in there with her!

Favorites

Like most kids, Cadence has her favorite stuffed animals. These just so happen to be larger than life! I went to the Mall of America yesterday and our last stop was the Disney Store. We usually stop there even if we aren't getting anything. Cadence noticed Mickey and Minnie as soon as we walked into the store. When I took Minnie away, she didn't like it very much. She screamed and screamed until we left the store.

Crazy girl

Cadence trying on mommy's boots. She even tried walking in them.

Lunch bag head

Cadence's new thing is to put Jon's hats or this lunch bag on her head and walk around. She gives herself enough room so that she can look down and see if there is anything in her way. I'm not sure what it's all about but she has a blast with it!

I read this joke and can't help but to pass it on...

One sunny day in ***2009*** an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue , where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said: 'I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.' The Marine looked at the man and said: 'Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here.' The old man said: 'Okay' and walked away. The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine: 'I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.'The Marine again told the man: 'Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here.' The man thanked him and, again, just walked away. The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U. S. Marine, saying: I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.' The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said: 'Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I've told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?' The old man looked at the Marine and said: 'Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.'
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said: 'See you tomorrow!"

Tag

Jen tagged me, which means that I get to share 6 interesting facts about myself and then "tag" other blog friends to share their own facts. I tag Veronica, probably the only person that hasn't been tagged from the blogs I read.
1) I am studying to become a gymnastics judge in MN. I did gymnastics for 10 years and miss it so this is my contrubution back to the sport.
2) I HATE BUGS! Any kind, any size, any type. I hate them all!
3) I dislike being in my house by myself. It's creepy. I can't wait to move.
4) I am very intolerant of parents who treat their children with disrespect or don't care for them the way children should be cared for. I am very passionate about children being loved and taken care of.
5) PARANOID. That pretty much sums me up in a nutshell.
6) I LOVE MOVIES. I love most all movies and enjoy movie night with my family (which is most weekend nights).
