Be careful

So you'd think that baby teething toys should be safe, right?!!? Well, we noticed the other day that Cadence was scraping the paint off of a few of her teethers. Who would have thunk? So, I guess we just wanted people who have little ones to watch their toys to make sure that they aren't eating the paint off of them.

Here you can see the green on the butterfly is coming off.

All of the toys I have noticed were made by Sassy. I have emailed them with my concerns. I hope you will all take notice to your child's toys as well and voice your concerns if you have any. Their website is www.sassybaby.com.

A new bathtub

So, we have always given Cadence a bath in the bathtub (except when she was really little we'd put her in her baby tub in the sink). Jon tried something new today with Cadence. She seemed to really enjoy herself!

I bet she's thinking "Uh, dad...I'm not a dish"!

Our backyard

So, we don't have much of a backyard, it's mostly woods. But, this time of year here is what we find:

Jon invited his great photographer friend Sammy out next year at this time to get some really good shots!

Cadence loves to relax. She reached in the little holder on her changing 'table' and grabbed her pacifier! So cute!

Love my Rattle!

Cadence got this rattle for Christmas from her Memere and she absolutely loves it! She loves to move her wrist around and shake it. So cute!!

P.S. Even when she's smiling she doesn't want to show those teeth. What a little stinker :)

Loungin

Cadence is not quite a cuddler. So, when I saw this photo opportunity, I had to take it.
She had a very very crabby day at home today. We ran some errands and went to dinner with a friend. The only time she seemed to enjoy herself today was when we were out and about and at dinner. (Thank goodness she was good at dinner--we didn't want to be 'that family')! We've realized that she LOVES being out in public looking around and I guess 'people watching'. I guess we tuckered her out with our errands cause she wanted to cuddle most of the night!!!
